INFLUENCE OF OBJECTIVES INCLUDED FOR THE DESIGN OF TRACEABILITY SYSTEM ON ITS EFFECTIVENESS

Summary
The aim of this study was to determine the rank of objectives that can assist in the design
of a traceability system and then examine the impact of objectives taken into accounting the
design of a traceability system for its effectiveness. The study was conducted by using the
Delphic method and one of the indirect sampling procedures which is survey method. The
largest percentage of respondents (81.1%) as definitely important objective in the design
traceability system they recognized “to support the objectives of food security”. The
correspondence analysis showed, that considering specific objectives for the designed tracking
system such as “supporting the objectives food quality”, “determining the history origin of the
product:, “facilitating the withdrawing products from distribution” may have a positive impact
on the perceiving the effectiveness of the internal and external traceability system.
