EVALUATION OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF 5S METHOD IN ENTERPRISE. A CASE STUDY

Summary
The paper presents the 5S method supporting quality management and limiting waste implemented in chemistry company Nicols located in Trawniki. Implementation process along
with the stages of applying the 5S principles is presented. After a period of 1.5 years among the company's employees a survey was conducted, the aim of which was to evaluate the implementation process of 5S method. The results allow to conclude that the introduction of the 5S method affects in a positive way on the company's image and improve its position among its competitors by eliminating waste, increasing productivity and efficiency.
