Surfactant addition and useful properties of shampoos

Key words:

shampoos, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, useful properties, quality

In this work hair washing preparations were tested. The formulation of original shampoos was developed and their properties compared with market shampoos. Six shampoos were tested - ready-made shampoos (3) and self-made shampoos (3). The material was selected so that you can compare the properties of the preparations with the addition of Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, and shampoo, which did not use surfactants. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of surfactant or its absence on the quality of products tested. The properties of shampoos have been assessed taking into account such parameters as: pH, dynamic viscosity, density, foam formation and the ability to reduce surface tension. The physicochemical characteristics carried out allowed for an objective assessment of the quality of the preparations offered.
