Summary
In this work the analysis of Polish dermocosmetics market offer for rosacea-prone skin care was conducted. Emulsion  products available on Polish cosmetics market were analyzed in term of 01.01-30.08.2014 in pharmacies.  The aim of analysis was to estimate the kinds of contained active ingredients and declared properties of  dermocosmetics. The analysis showed differences in the chemical composition of anti-rosacea products available on  the Polish mar-ket. The qualitative composition (according to INCI) available on the product packaging does not indicate the individual ingredients’ concentration in the product, it only allows to confirm the presence of active ingredients having a beneficial effect on the skin. The active compo-unds’ content significantly influences the caring properties of the dermocosmetics. The analy-sis showed that, although the products’ formulas contain different active compounds, their declared properties are very similar, such as: reduction of skin redness and hyperreactivity, soothing the irritations, moisturizing and protecting the skin against UV rays.
